A lazy day as we crossed the Bay of Biscay in sunny but blustery conditions. Dave & Janet walked the required 3.2 laps of the Promenade Deck to notch up the first ‘Walk a Mile’ of this cruise. Full English breakfast for Dave, as we were up early enough to go to the restaurant, and we visited the Asian buffet for lunch – very nice, if a little spicy. Unfortunately we missed afternoon tea as mid-afternoon we went to the cinema to watch ‘Quantum of Solace’, but not to worry, there’s always another meal on the horizon on a cruise, and tonight was no exception. Dave’s ‘Waiter Training Programme’ was reinforced as he chose the steak with chips again, though we had to add ‘Ice cream always comes with chocolate sauce’ to the instruction manual. Our waiters are, as always, wonderful, and the wine waiter is already on first name terms with Harold.
