An Apology

It has come to our notice that yesterday’s photograph with the caption ‘Janet Spots a Whale’ had been digitally enhanced, mainly by the addition of a whale. This was done by one of our reporters in a misguided attempt to sex-up a picture which should have been captioned ‘Janet Spots a Small Piece of Driftwood’ We apologise unreservedly for his actions which have damaged the high standards of integrity for which this Blog has become famous. Because of this event we are also investigating the authenticity of an earlier photograph on the subject of Dolphin watching. We hope that the uncanny similarity between the dolphin in the picture and the ceramic model of Orca the Killer Whale, on sale in the on-board art auction, will prove to be an unfortunate coincidence.
